This hotel is not a great five-star Louis XIV Château. You have to remember that. But it's 10 minutes away from the ferry terminal and there is not a hotel more welcoming in the whole of Europe so for sure will be staying here again

Very welcoming, restaurant good value and good quality. The bedroom room was a little compact, but not much you can do about that.
it ws strange that the fish and chips onthe menu (in english) didn't come with any chips, either English (Frites) or chips (a la francais)

Regarding the fish and chips, we understand your surprise. While the dish is listed as "fish and chips," we always ask our guests what kind of side they would prefer, as some specifically request to avoid fries. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible to suit everyone’s preferences — but we take note that this may not have been clear enough in your case, and we will make sure to improve on that point.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The gentleman who greeted me on arrival and departure was polite and helpful.
My Room was presented lovely and was very comfortable and the price was excellent.
